Environmental Protection Agency has a requirement for the leasing of
parking spaces for Fifty-one (51) Government Owned Vehicles (GOVs) and
GSA leased vehicles for Region I (Boston, Massachusetts). EPA
anticipates the award of a firm fixed- price type contract consisting
of a base period requirement of approximately twelve months and four
one-year options. The maximum period of performance for the contract
shall not exceed sixty months. EPA has optional quantities of 10
additional unreserved and 5 reserved parking spaces during each
contract period over the sixty month contract period. The minimum
requirements of the parking spaces include: (1) Parking facility shall
be within 1/4 mile radius of the Agency's One Congress Street Office,
Boston, Massachusetts; (2) parking spaces shall be covered, with a
minimum 6 feet height clearance; (3) parking spaces shall be accessible
24 hours a day, 7 days a week with unlimited access; (4) parking
facility shall be a well-lighted facility protected by the visual
surveillance of a parking lot attendant or security guard on premise 24
hours a day, 7 days a week and provide for the security and safety of
agency personnel and its leased and GOVs. ; (5) at least three of the
fifty-one parking spaces shall be reserved. RFP will be issued
approximately 4/5/99. Proposals will be due within approximately
fifteen days after the RFP issuance date. The SIC Code is 7521 and the
small business size standard is $3.5M. This is Not a small business
set-aside. A limited number of copies are available. Only one copy
shall be issued to a corporate entity, regardless of the number of
request from one or more different geographic locations. Copies shall
be issued on a first come, first serve basis. Firms must identify their
size status when requesting a copy of the solicitation. Firms who fail
to do so shall be considered to be large businesses. A copy of the
preliminary source list will be provided with the Solicitation. A
separate request is not necessary. All responsible sources may submit
a proposal which shall be considered by the Agency. Only written
request will be considered. No telephonic or faxed requests will be
