SOLICITATION NOTICE. Furnished all labor, equipment and materials for
demolishing two existing sheet pile walls from existing contraction
dikes and replacing with two new sheet pile walls of same length. The
existing two sheet pile walls total approx. 1150 linear feet of steel
pile wall, batter piles, and walls. Piles were originally driven to
depths ranging from 17 to 52 feet below mean low water. Work also
includes constructing a new contraction dike involving placement of
bedding, riprap and a new sheet pile wall. All work is located in the
Cooper River within the Charleston Harbor. All materials from the
demolition work are to be disposed of at approved disposal sites. Two
of the sites where the work is to accomplished are accessible from
land. The third sire an existing contraction dike accessible through
property the Corps of Engineers does not have right-of-entry. Summary
of work for all sites are: approximately 6,000 tons of riprap, 7000
tons of bedding, and placement of geogrid. The estimated value of work
is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Plans and specifications are no

SB Set-Aside. SIC Code is 1629. To be considered small business under
