(BNI) is the Systems Contractor for the Aberdeen Chemical Agent Disposal Facility Project located at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Edgewood, MD. BNI will Engineer, Procure & Construct a facility to nertralize mustard agent. We are seeking potential sources for the design and manufacture of Reactors. The two alternatives being considered are as follows: A) Grade 7 Titanium (heads & shells approx. 3/4" thick) with carbon steel shell; and B) Carbon steel (heads & shells approx. 1/2" thick) with internal KYNAR lining & Zinc primer on exterior. The Reactors are 78" ID x 8'-0" shell flange face-to-bottom tangent line length jacketed pressure vessels.
