This Procurement is Unrestricted. The work consists of dredging and
disposal of approximately 5,500,000 cubic yards of material to
deepening Humboldt Harbor and Bay Federal Navigation Channel. The Samoa
Channel, Samoa Turning Basin, and North Bay Channel shall be deepened
to a project depth of -38 feet mean lower low water (MLLW) plus 1 foot
of allowable overdepth. The Bar and Entrance Channel shall be deepened
to -48 feet MLLW plus 2 feet allowable overdepth. All dredged material
shall be disposed of at the Government-furnished ocean disposal site
(HOODS). Requests for plans, Specifications and Drawings, shall be in
writing along with a check to be received Not Later Than (NLT) 99 Mar
31. The cost of Solicitation Document: $20.00 per copy. Make check

above. Estimated Cost Range of this project is: Over $10,000,000.00.
NOTE: (a) Bid Opening for this project is subject to the signing and
approval of the PCA. (b) The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC)
for this acquisition is 1629. The Small Business Size Standard is
$13.5M. The number of employees or annual receipts indicates the
maximum allowed for a concern, including it affiliates, to be
considered small. Dredging: To be considered small for purposes of
government procurement, a firm must perform at least 40 percent of the
volume dredged with its own equipment or equipment owned by another
small dredging concern. (c) Small Business Subcontracting Plan is
required if Contractor is a Large Business and the Contract is over
