The work consists of dredging and disposal of approximately 5,500,000 cubic yards of material to deepening Humboldt Harbor and Bay Federal Navigation Channel. The Samoa Channel, Samoa Turning Basin, and North Bay Channel shall be deepened to a project depth of -38 feet mean lower low water (MLLW) plus 1 foot of allowable overdepth. The Bar and Entrance Channel shall be deepened to -48 feet MLLW plus 2 feet allowable overdepth. All dredged material shall be disposed of at the Government-furnished ocean disposal site (HOODS).
