This is a pre-proposal conference invitation prepared by the Electronic Systems Center Global Air Traffic Operations/Mobility Command and Control (GATO/MC2) Systems Program Office (SPO) for the procurement of Multi-Mode Receivers (MMR), and Instrument Landing System (ILS) Form/Fit Replacement components and services (GATM III). A Draft Request for Proposal was electronically submitted on the Hanscom Electronic RFP Bulletin Board (HERBB) www.herbb.hanscom.af.mil/rfp.asp on 19 March 99. Industry is encouraged to review the Draft RFP and provide comments on any aspect of the document. The preferred method to submit comments is electronically to Lt. Kevin Hobbs at hobbsk@hanscom.af.mil. Responses to industry comments and a pre-solicitation conference agenda will be posted to the HERBB websites as they are available. Request comments be submitted no later than close of business 29 March 99. The conference will be conducted on Thursday 1 April 99 at Hanscom AFB MA, Building 1612, First Floor -- O'Neil Auditorium at 0900 EST. Attendance is limited to three (3) individuals from each prospective source. A general session will be held, followed by optional one-on-one meetings between prospective offerors and the Government. The purpose of the pre-proposal conference is to promote a clear understanding of the Government's GATM III requirements and to clarify any questions on the Draft RFP package.
