The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) intends to award a sole source contract to the Energoservis Limited Co. to produce and deliver specified types and amounts of installation equipment and material required for the installation of physical security equipment associated with the SOS-1/Protva system. This effort is tied to an agreement between the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and the Russian Ministry of Defense (RFMOD) to provide assistance with the acquisition of certain physical security systems/equipment and ancillary materials to improve the security of selected nuclear weapon storage facilities in Russia. Specifically, the objective of this contract will be the production, acquisition, and delivery of 123 sets of cable conduit at 4.5 km per set, 50 small tractors with mounted equipment, and 600 metric tons of cement required for the installation of the SOS-1/Provta system and its related components. This requirement must be performed by an organization whose products have been certified by RFMOD.
