the Airborne Surveillance Testbed (AST) for planning, characterization,
testing, data collection, data reduction and analysis which support
resolution of critical ballistic missile defense issues. Period of
performance is 1 Oct 99 through 30 Sep 00 with options for FY 2001 and
2002 and surge options. Intended Source(s): Boeing Defense and Space
Group, P.O. Box 3999, Seattle, WA 98124. Award to other than current
source would result in substantial duplication of cost to the
government and unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's
requirements (FAR 6.302-1). Boeing designed, developed, and fabricted
the AST System equipment and owns the aircraft on which it is
installed. Boeing has performed the follow-on contracts for data
collection. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall
be considered. This acquisition is not open to Allied participation.
