The Oglala Sioux Tribe is seeking a qualified Architect/Engineer firm to prepare final design plans, specifications, and cost estimates for renovation construction of Kyle Dam. This project will also include construction phase engineering services. Kyle Dam is located on the Pine Ridge Reservation near Kyle, South Dakota. Preference will be given to qualified Indian firms. The A/E firm should have experience and knowledge in dam safety, design, and construction. This project will be completed in accordance with Federal dam safety guidelines. The conceptual design phase has been completed by Bureau of Reclamation, and the estimated cost for construction of this project is between $2,000,000 and $5,500,000. A pre-bid meeting will be held at Kyle, South Dakota on March 30, 1999. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
