Software customization to enable integration with Public Key Infrastructure software (Entrust/Direct) and LDAP infrastructure. Integration to enable transparent user authentication to Livelink in lieu of standard mechanism for authentication. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). NASA/GRC intends to purchase the items from Open Text Corporation. The authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1) only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy Agency requirements. It is believed that only Open Text can customize the existing software, Livelink, as they hold the source code. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. See Note 22. Interested firms have 7 days from the publication of this synopsis to submit in writing to the identified point of contact, their qualifications/capabilities. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed effort on a full and open competitive basis, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
