SOL RFQ R5-12-99-2016 DUE 042999 POC Doug Hyde-Sato, 909-884-6634, x3095 Development of an ArcView project that allows users to interactively query and display spatial and tabular information from the southern California National Forest GIS coverages of species locations and the State's GIS version of the Natural Diversity Data Base (NDDB). The function requires the development of Avenue scripts and use of ArcView's Designer extension. Attributes include; dropdown menus, ability to query additional species without overwriting the display of previously queried species, a tool that allows users to display tabular information, ability for the user to step back to a previous selected set, easy to replace old versions of the species occurrence coverages when updated versions are received. Additional work may be added in the form of an option; a menu interface that guides the user through a series of steps to select and input, and output data through a series of ArcMacro Language (AML's) from within a menu interface. The current AML's would be modified and new ones developed. Issue date for the Request for Quotes will be on or about April 6, 1999. Checks or money orders made out to USDA -- Forest Service for the plans in the amount of $15.00 will be required prior to mailing out the RFQ.
