This is a synopsis for commercial contract services to provide maintenance of the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Fueling Station System located at Building 1642 (the Base Motor Pool) on Hanscom AFB, MA. A competitive written solicitation will be issued on or around 08 Apr 99 for a Basic Year (i.e., the remainder of the Fiscal Year, 3 May 99 -- 30 Sep 99) and three (3) out-year Options (each 12 months in length). Both the Basic and Option Years (IF exercised) require the awardee to provide the following: All labor, material, supervision, equipment, tools, travel, and services to perform monthly preventative maintenance service visits, an annual service visit, and as required, break down service calls and necessary repairs within twenty-four (24) hours during normal working hours. An optional bid item to install a manual gas bypass system device so the CNG system can be tested independent of load will be included for consideration.
