CURBELO (787) 273-3318 The Department of the Army has a requirement for a fixed-price construction contract for the removal of a 1000 gallon Underground Storage Tank (UST) and the replacement with a new 1000 gallon Above Ground Storage Tank (AST) at Building 660 (Community Club), Fort Buchanan, PR. The awardee shall provide all labor, materials, machinery, sampling for laboratory chemical testing, the new AST, and equipment required to perform the task described above. The UST contains diesel fuel for the emergency generator located at Bldg 660. Magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. A written solicitation is estimated to be issued on 9 April 1999. The anticipated award date is 30 April 1999. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
