This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.603, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) under RFP #GSA-TIB-99-99012. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-11 (through March 4th portion). CLIN 001.: 1 each generator roofing systems for coverage of existing power generators. The structures shall be all steel fabricated to meet local building codes in the Oklahoma City, OK area, with 4 removable roof sections. Each roof section to have independent capability to be removed for the purpose of accessing and removing each generator. The approximate outside dimension of the structure is 42 feet wide by 90 feet long, with 4 internal bays. The roofing system shall be single sloped along the 42 foot side to comply with existing drainage using metal gutters. The roofing system shall be pre-engineered with bolted connections, without welded joints. Drawings and other specification details are available from the cognizant Contracting Officer (Thomas C. Robel (202) 708-7650). Delivery shall be due within thirty days (30) business days after award, FOB: Tinker AFB, Oklahoma, and acceptance within five (5) business days after delivery. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, instructions to offerors -- Commercial, applies to this solicitation. The provisions at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, applies. Offers will be evaluated by the technical panel for adherance to the specification, terms and conditions outlined above, and award will be made on a greatest value basis. Offers must meet all of the requirements of the specification to be considered acceptable. Offerors must include a copy of the provision at FAR 52.212.3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with any offer. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies.
