synopsis is FOR INFORMATION ONLY. No solicitation will be issued. The
Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) intends to award a sole source
contract to Tenzor. Tenzor would produce and deliver, to
representatives of the Russian Federation Ministry of Defense (RFMOD),
73 sets of SOS-1/Protva system components, as well as associated
ancillary components. These systems will be used to enhance security of
RFMOD nuclear weapons storage sites. This effort is tied to an
agreement between the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and the Russian
Ministry of Defense (RFMOD) to provide assistance with the acquisition
of certain physical security systems/equipment and ancillary materials
to improve the security of selected nuclear weapon storage facilities
in Russia. This requirement must be performed by an organization whose
products have been certified by RFMOD. All responsible sources must
provide written documentation demonstrating identical or equal
