consist of the contractor to furnish all services, equipment,
materials, and labor to perform the professional investigation and data
recovery of prehistoric archeological site 41CA13 in Callahan County,
Texas. The contractor will furnish archeological expertise to conduct
investigations, excavate, analyze material recovered, and prepare
reports. This is to sufficiently document the available scentific
information contained in archeological site 41CA13 to its full
potential as a means of advancing the archeological record of the
north/west Texas region and the understanding of annular burned rock
middens. The proposed site is located in Callahan County, Texas located
two miles east of U.S. Highway 183 about 5 miles south of the U.S. 183
Intersection with State Highway 36. Performance Time: Work is to
commence on May 15, 1999 and the field work completed by July 15, 1999.
The draft cultural resources data recovery report completed by October
15, 1999 with the final report completed by December 15, 1999.
Estimated Value for this project is $25,000 to $100,000. The Standard
Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 8999 for this project and the
size standard for this project is $5.0 million. Request for Quotations
