Investigation, (FBI) Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS)
Division has a requirement to establish a preventive maintenance
agreement for the physical fitness equipment center located in
Clarksburg, West Virginia. This is a commercial service in accordance
with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, and subpart 13,
Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This requirement is being issued as
Request For Quote (RFQ) number 604099Q, and is a 100% small business
set-aside. The Standard Industrialized Classification (SIC) Code for
the requirement is 8999. The small business size standard is $5.0
million average annual receipts for the previous three (3) years. This
will be a firm-fixed price contract for one (1) base year plus four
(4) additional one year option periods. Contractor personnel shall be
subjected to complete background investigations in order to gain entry
to FBI facilities. The Government will award a best value contract to
the responsive and responsible offeror whose offer conforming to RFQ
number 604099Q will be most advantageous to the Government based on the
following criteria listed in descending order of importance: Offerors
ability to certify that they can service the required manufacturers
equipment and shall use only original manufacturer parts and materials;
technical approach; past performance and price. The manufacturers
equipment to be maintained are as follows: Bodymaster; Hammer Strength;
York; Cybex and Stairmaster. The contractor shall provide scheduled
maintenance examinations of equipment and to respond to emergency
repair calls within 48 hours. This contract shall be subject to a U.S.
Department of Labor (DOL) wage determination as established by the DOL
Wage and Hour Division. Proposals shall be due fifteen (15) days after
the release of the RFQ. All interested, responsible parties may submit
