The 11th Contracting Squadron/LGCN, Bolling AFB, DC, intends to procure on a sole source basis an Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity contract with the United Services Organization (USO), 901 M Street SE, Bldg. 198, Washington, DC 20374-5096, to provide entertainment support services to the Armed Forces Professional Entertainment Office (AFPEO). The AFPEO provides live U.S.-based entertainment to American military forces stationed at remote and isolated sites overseas or on ships at sea. In accordance with DODD 1330.12 and DODI 1330.13 AFPEO coordinates with USO to procure celebrity entertainment for the DOD Overseas Shows program. USO schedules and coordinates celebrity entertainment for gratis or reduced rate performances, often in conjunction with commercial tours based upon the support capabilities and requirements, entertainment desires, entertainment quality, and the acceptance of the overseas command. The period of performance will be three years from date of award with five one-year optionperiods. The Authority is 10 USC 2304(c)(1). The SIC Code assigned to this project is 7929.
