THE 34TH ANNUAL GUN & AMMUNITION SYMPOSIUM & EXHIBITION 34th Annual Gun & Ammunition Technical Symposium and Exhibition, April 26-29, 1999, Monterey Convention Center and DoubleTree Hotel, Monterey, California. In today's environment of reduced budgets, downsized forces and procurements, the Gun and Ammunition Systems community is challenged to continue the technology developments necessary to support the needs of the military forces to provide superior force capability as we move into the 21st century. The Symposium seeks and understanding of operational needs today and tomorrow. This includes platforms and integration. This symposium will address the many facets, which will influence the role of guns, and ammunition during this period of change to assure that leading edge technology is not lost. The theme this year is "Best Value Solutions for Today and Tomorrow".
