FORT KNOX CONTRACTING OPPORTUNITY DAY Fort Knox Contracting Opportunities Day, a one-day event, will be held Monday, April 12 from 8:15 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. EST at the Leaders Club at Ft. Knox. This day long program offers attendees the opportunity to meet one-on-one with buyers from Ft. Knox and to learn about current bid openings. Attendees also will be able to meet with other buyers from additional federal and state agencies. The intent is for business owners to discover new ways to market their business to fort Knox, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, General Services Administration (GSA), Army Air Force Exchange Service, the Commonwealth of Kentucky and others. Various information booths will be open and many programs explained. Attendees can take advantage of several workshops including "Doing Business with Ft. Knox," and a roundtable of experts from Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, GSA, Non Appropriated Funds and the U.S. Army Corps Engineers. Other workshop topics focus on how to target Defense and other government contracting opportunities for Kentucky companies. A special workshop for small businesses will provide information on helping them sell to government agencies. Registration fees for the Fort Knox Contracting Opportunities Day are $25 per person.
