Buildings will be demolished to the ground surface; underground foundations, utilidors, and piping (with the exception of fuel lines) will remain in place. Miscellaneous debris such as truck frames, antenna poles, Marston matting, and cable will also be removed from within site vicinity. Surface drums, batteries, underground storage tanks, and fuel lines will also be removed. Liquids remaining in tanks, drums, and fuel lines will be removed and treated on site is possible, or packages for offsite disposal. Debris will be removed from the island. A limited amount of stained soil and fuel contaminated soil will be removed, treated, and disposed of offsite during drum, tank and fuel line removal.
