66 -- SINGLE SOURCE, 10 W, 532 NM, CW LASER SOL RFQ 99-442 DUE 041999 POC Bryan Salas, Purchasing Agent The National Institutes of Health (NIH) National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) has a requirement to purchase a single source, 10 W, 532 nm, CW Laser to pump a picosecond/femtosecond Tsunami Ti:sapphire laser and a femtosecond Clark NJA-4 Ti:sapphire laser. This laser will be used primarily for pumping two Ti:sapphire lasers to allow for simaltaneous operation of two independant laser spectrometers at the same time. The detailed technical specifications will be provided in the Request for Quote package. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by the agency. All responses shall be within the Simplified Acquisition Threshold for Commercial purchases. It is anticipated that Request for Quotation (RFQ) NIH-NIDDK-99-442 will be available fifteen (15) days after the publication date of this synopsis.
