Reclamation, (Reclamation), Upper Colorado Region, has a requirement
for Cultural Resource services within the Upper Colorado Region. The
region shall be broken into three separate areas (A, B, and C) of which
the contractor may bid on one or more of these areas. Area "A" will
primarily be the Flaming Gorge Reservoir Area, Area "B" is the Four
Corners Area and Area "C" location will primarily be New Mexico. This
solicitation may result in a multiple award contract. This shall be an
Indefinite Quantity Contract with requirements issued through Delivery
Orders. The Contract shall be for five years, with one performance year
(Schedule I) and four option years, (Schedule II, Schedule III,
Schedule IV and Schedule V). It shall not exceed a total of five years.
Potential cultural resource services include, but not limited to,
cultural resource surveys or inventories; site documentation and
National Register of Historic Places evaluation; construction
monitoring; archaeological, historic, ethnographic, and ethnohistoric
consultation, research and report writing; preparation of research
designs, cultural resource overviews, management plans, treatment
plans, preservation plans, historic contexts, and national Register of
Historic Places forms and nominations; and archaeological, historical
or ethnographic testing, mitigation, monitoring, and data recovery;
and initial curation. The Contractor shall provide all personnel,
equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services
necessary to perform this cultural resource service. The Contractor
shall perform according to accepted professional cultural resource
standards and practices consistent with guidelines of the Advisory
Council on Historic Preservation, the Standards of Research
Performancce of the Society of Professional Archaeologists; and the
Secretary of Interior's Standards and Guidelines for Archaeology and
Historic Preservation. THIS PROCUREMENT IS A TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS
SET-ASIDE. For this acquisition the small business size standard is
$50.0 million and the Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is
8999. tHIS SOLICITATION WILL BE AVAILABLE IN HARD COPY ONLY AND WILL
BE AVAILABLE APPROXIMATELY APRIL 9, 1999. THE COST FOR THE SOLICITATION
IS $20.00 EACH. ONLY CHECKS AND REQUESTS IN WRITING WILL BE ACCEPTED
