Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) has been tasked to install ground water monitoring wells at several locations at Edwards AFB, CA and plans to issue a subcontract for this requirement. An estimated 30 monitoring wells will be installed. The subcontractor will supply all well construction material, which includes, but is not limited to PVC, stainless steel, HDPE and PVC prepack. All wells must be screened at intervals that are to be determined. Well casing diameter will range from 2 inches to 6 inches. Well depth will range from 25 feet to 150 feet. The subcontractor must have the capability to use hollow-stem auger, air rotary, and water/mud rotary drilling techniques through both consolidated and unconsolidated formations. The subcontractor will ensure that their employees wear level A, B, C, or D Personal Protective Equipment. Complete specifications will be sent to all interested bidders on April 22, 1999.
