J -- MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR SERVICES FOR HEATING, VENTILATING, AND AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEMS SOL DAAL01-98-R-9752 DUE 041299 POC Ann Kearney, Contract Specialist, 301-394-5332; Lee Hess, Contracting Officer, 301-394-4593 The Contractor shall provide maintenance and repair services for heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, and compressed air equipment and systems at the Army Research Laboratory (ALC), U.S. Army Research Laboratory (ARL), located in Adelphi, MD. The resultant contract will provide for preventive maintenance for certain systems for one year, plus four option years; service calls and unscheduled repairs for one year, plus four option years, as well as options for preventive maintenance for five years for other specific equipment. The Standard Industrial Code is 7623 -- $5,000,000.00. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. Only small businesses shall be considered for this contract. The contractor must provide evidence that his/her company has been established and active in commercial HVAC maintenance and repair for a minimum of 5 years. The contractor shall provide a detailed performance plan specifying the required preventive maintenance (PM) inspection and services of the HVAC equipment and systems.
