Q -- The Aberdeen Area Indian Health Service is soliciting the services of a contractor to assist the area in providing payment integrity,quality of care, and utilization monitoring services through the implementation of a retrospective compliance and quality monitoring audit program. The contractor shall assist the AAIHS in the review of payment information for approximately 4300 hospital admissions occurring during FY 1998. Referrals were made to private and public hospitals in the Aberdeen Area states of North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, and Nebraska. The review shall be performed by a physician with experience in retrospective claims and quality of care reviews. The contract will be for a one-year period after date of award.
