Eglin AFB has a requirement to Upgrade Ben's Lake Marine, Eglin AFB FL. This project includes furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, and materials and performing all operation in connection with Upgrading Ben's Lake Marina, Eglin AFB FL. This is a "Trade-Off" Contract. Award will be made based upon the "Best Value" to the Government in accordance with FAR 15.3. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low proposed price. In general, the work will consist of: Demolishing two existing facilities and constructing a new pre-engineered metal boat facility for 208 boats; Constructing new dock master facility and fish cleaning building; Constructing new boat launch area and 24 concrete floating boat slips; Concrete paving, Masonry fencing, Landscaping, Irrigation, Mechanical, and Electrical. The above general description of work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all plant, labor, equipment, and materials and perform all operation in accordance with the plans and specifications.
