Z -- RECONFIGURE BOAT BASIN, USCG BASE MAYPORT, FLORIDA SOL DTCG82-99-Q-3WC118 DUE 041699 POC Ms. Pat Dixon (305) 278-6725 SYNOPSIS: Provide all labor, materials and equipment necessary to furnish and deliver a 9.5' x 24', 6' x 45' and 6' x 60' long floating piers and accessories. Provide all labor to assemble the new sections and connect them with the relocated floating dock section. Provide all labor to relocate all pile guides on the relocated section. Provide ten (10) precast piles and pile caps in accordance with specifications. The concrete floating dock assembly shall be constructed of reinforced concrete shells encasing polystyrene flotation billets with continuous wood waler system. All work must be completed in accordance with provided specifications and drawings. The U.S. Coast Guard will pick all piles from the wharf and drive them into the pile guides after contractor has built and located the docks. The Coast Guard will also cut off the concrete pile after driving. Location: U. S. Coast Guard Base Mayport, Florida. This solicitation is issued pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is open to large and small business participation. This solicitation/contract will incorporate all applicable provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 97-10. The SIC Code is 1629 and the size standard is $17.0M. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The COT provides an 80% guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
