renovate Main Hangar, rehabilitate and provide an addition to
Administration Building, and upgrade electrical system in Sewage
Treatment Building at U. S. Coast Guard Air Station San Francisco, CA.
Work includes: (1) Exterior Walls: Repair cracks, make watertight and
finish paint throughout; (2) Hangar Interior: Paint walls, ceiling,
trusses, structural steel and floor of the main hangar room; (3) Metal
Siding: Provide new insulated siding and secondary support framing,
provide finish coats; (4) Female Locker Facility: Enlarge locker and
toilet area; (5) Windows: Reseal and caulk exterior window frames; (6)
Electrical Work: Provide lights and receptacles in the women's toilet

Estimated Range is $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The performance
period is 195 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. The
procurement is subject to the Small Business Competitiveness
Demonstration Program and is open to large and small business
participation. The applicable SIC code is 1542. Small business size
standard is $17.0 million. THIS IS AN UNRESTRICTED ACQUISITION BEING
SOLICITED AND ALL RESPONSIBLE SOURCES ARE ENCOURAGED TO RESPOND. For

of Transportation (DOT Office of Small and Disadvantage Business
Utilization) has programs to assist minority, women owned and
disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working
capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts.
Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at
prime interest rates up to $500,000 per contract to provide accounts
receivable financing. The Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to
apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to $500,000. DOT
provides an 80% guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses.
