The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation and disposal necessary for the removal and disposal of an existing 300 foot by 20 foot section (dimensions are approximate) of bituminous concrete road and six inches of the underlying base material, an existing 105 foot by 75 foot macadam parking lot and the underlying base material and one 12 inch diameter pine tree. Other work includes excavating an approximate 60 foot by 60 foot area to a depth of approximately 2 feet. This area is to be used as a drainage basin for runoff from the adjacent parking lot. The new work includes providing approximately 1,600 square yards of 4 inch thick bituminous concrete pavement with a 9 inch granular base, 1,575 square yards of 1 inch thick bituminous overlay, pavement markings, 600 feet of crack sealing, and incidental related work. Work is located at USCG Group Moriches, Eastern Moriches, NY. (Suffolk County) SIC: IS 1611. Performance period is sixty (60) calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. PAYMENT AND PERFORMANCE BONDS REQUIRED IF BID IS OVER $100,000. Estimated Cost of this project is between $100,000 to $250,000. . This is applicable to any prime subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, payment and performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract.
