The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to award an acquisition for Digital Data Recorder (Sony Model SIR-1000 with SCX-32 expansion unit) utilizing the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Quantities for the Digital Data Recorder are: 2 each model SIR-1000 with expansion unit, 1 each SRT-200 rack mount adapter for SCX-32, 2 each SHL-10 guard frame for SIR-1000 recorder and 1 each SRT-100 rack mount adopter for SIR-1000. These items will be acquired on the basis of brand name or equal. Specifications for the digital data recorder are: 32 channel digital data recorder; frequency bandwidth DC to 20 kHz for ALL channels; sampling frequency 49 kHz; 2 hour recording time; 16 bit AD/DA conversion; 78dB signal/noise ratio; 80dB dynamic range; interchannel phase difference of 1 degree or less; auxiliary inputs for voice and IRIG time code; input range of +/-0.5Vp to +/-20Vp, DC coupling, 100 kohm impedance; record and playback of signals without need to swap modules; 8mm(nominal) tape cartridge; remote control via RS232 computer interface; portable (50 lb maximum weight) and mountable in NEMA 19 inch rack.
