Van Houten (SEA 02544) 703/602-8000 x545 The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to negotiate a contract with The Boeing Company, 5301 Bolsa Avenue, Huntington Beach, CA 92647-2099 under the authority of 10 USC 230 (c)(1). The Navy intends to procure one AN/SAY-1 Thermal Imaging Sensor System for the LHD-7 with an option for 7 additional AN/SAY-1 for LHD-8 and FMS customers. The AN/SAY-1 is a lightweight, state-of-the-art sensor suite (consisting of a thermal imaging (infrared) sensor, two television sensors and an eye-safe laser rangefinder), remote support electronics and an operator console.
