This is a notice of intent to issue a Request for Offer(RFO)59690/607 on a noncompetitive basis in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) -- "Only One Responsible Source," to the Swedish National Space Board, Box 4006, S-17104 Solna, Sweden. This procurement is for launch services necessary to launch a Black Brant Sounding Rocket(Project ICON) from Esrange, Sweden, in July/August 1999. A complete list of the necessary requirements needed to be provided for the launch will be issued with the RFO. Any firm desiring consideration are requested to fully identify their capabilities and qualifications to provide these services within 15 days after publication of this synopsis to the GSFC/Wallops Flight Facility and the individual listed above.
