Specifications for Main Range Control Tower: 60 feet ground to floor height; side entrance on south side of cab at southeast corner; 16 feet by 16 feet cab with straight sides; cab to have a 3 foot catwalk with safety rails on all sides; stair access with safety rails; safety rails are to include knee and toe rails; fenced or railed maintenance deck on top of cab capable of supporting 1,000 pounds in addition to any roof mounted contractor furnished items; roof access to be trap door with folding hide-a-way ladder; roof fencing or railing corner posts capapble of supporting government installed antennas/instruments; cab to be furnished with hvac system capable of maintaining 68 degrees Fahrenheit in winter and 75 degrees Fahrenheit in summer; minimum cab inside ceiling height to be 8 feet; windows to start at ceiling and go down to within 4 inches of counter top; contractor to furnish and install FAA approved roll-up window shades on all four sides; cab to be furnished with 32 inches high work counter on north and west sides; counter work surface to be 24 inches deep; adjustable shelving under work surface to be installed by contractor as identified by the government after award; wind and personnel limitations to be provided by the contractor; Desired Options: lockable 36 inch gate in top railing on southwest side of cab; swing arm with power winch on southwest corner with 500 pound lift capacity; lockable security gate on landing below cab level with barbed wire extending 3 feet on top and each side.
