(202) 307-3069 Provide outpatient assessment and counseling services
for substance abuse treatment for male and female Federal offenders in
the Binghamton, New York area, held under the authority of various
United States Statutes. A Firm-Fixed-Price-Requirements type contract
with a two year base period and three one-year option years is
anticipated. Services for the base period of October 1, 1999, through
September 30, 2001 shall include services for 10 inmates as follows:
intake assessment (one per inmate), individual counseling (30-half hour
sessions per inmate), group counseling (30-half hour sessions per
inmate), and family counseling (2-half hour sessions per inmate).
Services for option years one, two, and three shall include services
for 5 inmates as follows: intake assessment (one per inmate),
individual counseling (30-half hour sessions per inmate), group
counseling (30-half hour sessions per inmate), and family counseling
(2-half hour sessions per inmate), respectively. The first option year
period will beOctober 1, 2001 through September 30, 2002, the second
option year period will be October 1, 2002 through September 30, 2003,
and the third option year period will be October 1, 2003 through
September 30, 2004. All services shall be performed in accordance with
the Transitional Services Statement of Work "Transitional Drug Abuse
Treatment (TDAT) (Non-Residential) Substance Abuse Treatment" dated
March 1999. Proper licensing in the State of New York is required. The
estimated issue date for the Request for Proposals (RFP) is April 22,
1999. The estimated closing date for the RFP is May 21, 1999. All
responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by
this agency. No collect phone calls will be accepted. No telephone
requests for the RFP will be accepted. Requests for RFP 200-0496-NE
