J -- STORAGE, DELIVERY, PICKUP, AND REPAIR OF DURABLE MEDICAL EQUIPMENT SOL RFP NO 636-20-99 DUE 050399 POC Karen Goodell, Contracting Officer, 402-449-0613 Contractor shall provide services for Prosthetics Section, Treatment/Therapies, at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Omaha, Nebraska, consisting of Pick-Up, Cleaning, Inspection, Storage, Delivery, Installation, Adjusting, and Repair if required, of Government Owned home care medical equipment and/or accessories. The Durable Medical Equipment for beneficiaries of the VA mainly consists of electric hospital beds and accessories. This is a firm-fixed price requirements contract. Contractor must be accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations at the time the proposal is submitted. The period for these requirements will be July 1, 1999, through June 30, 2000, and will be renewed for four (4) subsequent renewal periods.
