The Central Puget Sound Regional Transit Authority, hereinafter "Sound Transit," is requesting Proposals from firms qualified and interested in serving as the prime consultant to provide and/or manage multiple real estate discipline subconsultants for the acquisition over an approximate two (2) year period of approximately one thousand (1,000) parcels of land that shall constitute the corridor for the construction and operation of the Central Link Light Rail and related facilities. Real estate disciplines shall include appraisal, appraisal review, environmental assessment and acquisition/relocation negotiations. Further, the prime consultant shall be expected to provide over-all project management to include, but not be limited to, project administration, data management and community outreach. Sound Transit seeks firms with substantial experience in Federal Transit Administration capital projects, with particular experience in working as part of a team with agency and governmental disciplines and in supervising subconsultants to achieve consistent and timely results. In addition, Sound Transit seeks full integration of minority, women and disadvantaged business enterprises (M/W/DBE) and small business subconsulting opportunities for these services.
