Contractor shall provide all plant, materials, equipment, tools and labor required to perform the work necessary to complete the project in accordance with the contract specifications and drawings to maintain and repair existing pavements and to construct new pavements on Elmendorf AFB, AK. Work consists of but not limited to: All base roads, parking lots, driveways, bike paths, golf cart paths, all base airfield pavements which include all taxiways, runways, aprons, airfield roads and hangar floors. The pavement work items include, but not limited to: asphalt and concrete paving, crack sealing, joint sealing, spall repairs, pothole repairs, replace curbs and gutters, replace concrete sidewalks, handicap access, pavements markings, base course and sub-base work and others. Magnitude is between $1,000,000.00 -- $5,000,000.00. Performance period is Award Date through 31 August 1999 for the Base Year and 366 calendar days for the First Option Year. Solicitation will be availableon or about 16 April 1999 with a Closing Date of 18 May 1999. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Specifications and drawings will be available on CD ROM only. Format for the specifications is Word 6.0. The drawings are AutoCad 14 and will include the AutoCad Viewer. There is a limited supply of CD's and will be given out on a first come first serve basis until depleted. Package will be sent upon written request.
