Radar System: The U.S. Customs Service intends to negotiate on a
sole-source basis with Northrop Grumman Corporation, Electronic Sensors
and Systems Division, Baltimore, Maryland, for four complete APG-66(V)2
radar system upgrade kits plus associated spares. The major radar
components will be supplied by Customs as Government Furnished
Equipment (GFE) for upgrade to the (V)2 configuration by the original
equipment manufacturer. These radar systems will ultimately be
integrated into four Customs Service aircraft with an upgraded antenna
system, IFF interrogator, VME-based COTS computer processing and
display system. The contract will include technical services, the
supply of a technical data package, options for six additional radar
upgrade kits and optional spares. See Note 22. Posted 03/24/99
