This is a market survey to locate additional sources of covers, Generator Sets used in conjunction with all trailer mounted MIL-STD Generator Sets. This market survey does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. Detailed technical data for the manufacturer or acceptance of these items is available from the Army. Suppliers capable of manufacturing this item must so indicate, by writing to the Power Sources/GSE Division, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-P-GN(Petouses), Fort Monmouth NJ 07703-5064. Manufacturers are required to warrant that the MIL-STD Generator Cover will be a suitable replacement when used for the purpose intended by the Army. The response must include documentation such as drawings or other technical information demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, manufacture a cover that will be physically and functionally interchangeable as the cover being used for all the existing trailer mounted MIL-STD Generator Sets. In addition it is requested thatthe potential manufacturers provide this office with a time frame as to when a quantity of 200ea. will be available to the field units after a contract award is made.
