NASA/GRC plans to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for XENON GAS, 99.999% PURE, to be provided in (4) four bottles with 2500 liters in each. A certificate of analysis with actual measured amounts of all contaminants in ppm or ppb is required for each bottle. The xenon shall meet the following specifications: 99.999+ % purity with the following purity levels: Ar: < 1.0 ppm N2: < 1.0 ppm CO2: < 0.5 ppm O2: < 0.1 ppm CF4: < 0.1 ppm THC: < 0.1 ppm CO: < 0.5 ppm H2O: < 0.1 ppm H2: < 2.0 ppm Kr: < 5.0 ppm Balance:Xenon This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR PART 12. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The SIC Code and Size Standard are 2813 and 1000 employees, respectively. The DPAS Rating for this procurment is DO-C9. The anticipated release date of RFQ3-119393 is on or about March 24, 1999, with an anticipated quote due date of on or about April 13, 1999. Delivery 21 days after receipt of order.
