Provide outpatient assessment and counseling services for substance
abuse treatment for male and female Federal offenders in the Altoona,
Pennsylvania area, held under the authority of various United States
Statutes. A Firm-Fixed Price-Requirements type contract with a two year
base period and three one-year option years is anticipated. Services
for the base period of October 1, 1999, through September 30, 2001
shall include services for 5 inmates as follows: intake assessment (one
per inmate), individual counseling (30-half hour sessions per inmate),
family counseling (3-half hour sessions per inmate). Services for
option years one, two, and three shall include services for 3 inmates
as follows: intake assessment (one per inmate), individual counseling
(30-half hour sessions per inmate), and family counseling (3-half hour
sessions per inmate), respectively. The first option year period will
be October 1, 2001 through September 30, 2004. All services shall be
performed in accordance with Transitional Services Statement of Work
"Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment" dated March 1999 (TDAT) (Non
Residential) Substance Abuse Treatment" dated March 1999. Proper
licensing in the State of Pennsylvania is required. The estimated issue
date for the Request for Proposals (RFP) is April 22, 1999. The
estimated closing date for the RFP is May 21, 1999. All responsible
sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by this agency.
