The U.S. Postal Service is seeking sources for prequalification of telemarketing service providers. USPS intends to establish a contract for telemarketing services to include both inbound and outbound calls in support of the processing and fulfillment of stamp and stamp-related product orders. The service provider will be tasked with order transaction processing, information requests and customer service requests for assistance. Additionally the service provider must provide: data-entry; training; quality assurance; IS technologies; system tools, such as scripting and help screens; data reporting and analysis; and electronic transmission capabilities. During the past year 1,178,316 calls were received. Only prequalified service providers will receive future solicitations. Firms having the capabilities and experience to provide these services should submit a written request for a copy of the prequalification package no later than April 7, 1999.
