The USPFO for New York is soliciting requests for proposal (RFP) for a multiple award maintenance, repair, and construction service contracts. The contract period will be one (1) base year, with up to four (4) one year options, excercised at the discretion of the Government, per FAR 52.719-9. Mutliple awards will be made. Task Orders will be issued to TOC Contractors based on low, competitive price, or a combination of price and other factors (best value judgements) in accordance with FAR 16.106. Task orders shall not exceed a cumulative amount of $10,000,000.00. Individual task orders shall not exceed $1,000,000.00, inclusive of modifications and change orders. Source selection procedures in accordance with DFARS part 216.605 shall be utilized for the basic TOC. Signifigant evaluation criteria for the basic contract in descending order of importance are: 1) Past performance, with an emphasis on company experience, projects completed and letters of reccomendation; 2) Project management with an emphasis on Managment/Support Staff and Quality Control Plan; 3) Financial Capability with an emphasis on Capability to Perform and Bonding Capacity; 4) Company Location in relation to the work site; 5) Price Proposal on the Prototypical Project in relation to the Government Estimate.
