Requirement: Range Training Officers during Cope Thunder 99-2,99-3, and
99-4 -- Approximately 2 weeks, 8-12 hours per shift (nominal 8-hrs).
Two days training prior to each Thunder. Maximum 106 hours(includes
familiarization training and up to 10 hoursof extended services) per
individual -- 353 CTS/CC will determine final work days/hours to be
supported -- 2 weeks per Thunder; one person per 8 hour shift; two 8
hour shifts per day -- Allowed two workdays prior to each Thunder for
familiarazation(Thursday/Friday prior to the Cope Thunder week). -- CT
99-2, 29 April through 14 May 1999 -- CT 99-3, 10-25 June 1999 -- CT
99-4, 8-23 July 1999 Individual(s) shall have: -- A secret security
clearance -- Fighter pilot air to air experience -- Current up to date
Advanced Medium Range Air to Air Missile (AMRAAM) knowledge The
individual(s) shall be able to: -- Monitor missions real time
utilizing/operating advance display and debriefingsystem (ADDs) --
Utilize operate operator position equipment (OPE), ground to air
tactical radios (GATR), etc. i.e. relay information utilizing an OPE
and GATR -- Sort kill calls including snipped AMRAAM shot (determine
who kill call is on) -- Control regeneration of dead aircraft to fit
scenario -- Coordinate with Ground Control Intercept (Airborne Warning
and Control/Regional Operational Control Center) -Reveiw mission
playbacks as shot pre-validation -- Monitor air to air shot validation
and and mass debriefs utilizing -operating an ADDs -- Document shot
data -- Work cohesively (team player) with current contract personnel
performing services under the Pacific Alaska Range Complex contract
