69 -- COMPUTER BASED TRAINING FOR WORKPLACE VIOLENCE PREVENTION PROGRAM SOL 54-M-APHIS-99 DUE 050999 POC Kathryn Linde 612-370-2494 The United States Department of Agriculture, Animal & Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) is currently developing and implementing the Agency's policy and procedures for preventing and responding to workplace violence. This announcement is to find sources who are able to provide services needed by APHIS. We are looking for vendors who can deliver Computer Based Training (CBT) for the Workplace Violence Prevention Program. Vendors should offer CBT for two audiences, managers/supervisors and employees. The course content for managers/supervisors should help them recognize and effectively respond to aggressive or hostile behavior. For employees, the course should help employees know their of in preventing workplace violence. The vendor should be able to customize a CBT course to achieve the above requirements. The qualities of CBT must include a wide variety of learner interactions and exercises, including case studies, self-assessments, and simulated behavior modeling dialogues, a high degree of frequency of learner interactions, a wide variety of graphics and illustrations, learner assessments that tests the learner's knowledge throughout the course, feedback to the learner with correct answers, identification of topics needing more attention, job aides, audio capability and pre and post tests. Most of the training should be delivered via the APHIS Intra net in addition to CD ROM.
