This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Solicitation Number is M00681-99-T-0011 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The Standard Industrial Code is 3556 and the business size standard is NTE 500 employees. This is a small business set-aside. This requirement is for a fixed price contract for three (3) line items as follows: ITEM 00001: Eight (8) each -- OVEN, natural gas, deck, triple stack. Each unit consists of 3 each 12" compartments. Garland Model G-2123 or equal. In accordance with salient characteristics listed; ITEM 00002: Five (5) each -- OVEN, natural gas, deck, double stack, dual compartment. Each unit consists of 4 each 7" compartments. Garland Model G-2772 or equal. In accordance with salient characteristics listed; ITEM 0003: Two (2) each -- OVEN, natural gas, deck, double stack, combination, Each unit consists of 2 each 7" compartments, and one (1) each of 12" compartment., Garland Model G-2121-72 or equal. SALIENT CHARRACTERISTICS: 1. ITEM 0001 -- a. Roast Section (12" compartment): A 12 gauge steel hearth; b. Dimensions: Not-to-exceed 75"H x 55-1/2" W x 38"D; c. Interior Construction: Steel deck in oven compartment with middle rack shelf. ITEM 0002 -- a. Dimensions: Not-to-exceed 62-1/2" x 55-1/2"W x 38"D; b. Interior Construction; Cordierite deck in each oven compartment; ITEM 0003 -- a. Dimensions: Not-to-exceed 65"H x 55-1/2"W x 38"D; b. Interior Construction: Cordierite Deck in 7" oven compartment, steel hearth in 12 oven compartment. THE FOLLOWING CHARACTERISTICS ARE COMMON TO ALL ITEMS, #0001, #0002, AND #0003 -- a. Control and Burner Components; Each section shall have a free floating, easily removable burner. Unit shall contain automatic pilot light system with 100% shut offcapability. Unit shall have easy access from front for operation and maintenance. Each oven section shall provide a minimum 150F to 500F temperature range and an independent shut on-off gas valve and 100% safety pilot system; b. Exterior Construction: Front, doors, sides, back, top and bottom of oven sections shall be #430 Stainless Steel, #3 finish or industry standard stainless steel sheets minimum; c. Shelves: Standard shelves constructed of U.S.S. #11 gauge formed, reinforced and flanged steel for 12" oven cavity models; d. Doors: Door shall open to full width of oven cavity and to exact level of horizontal oven deck for unobstructed loading. Door must support a minimum of 250 pounds. Heavy chrome plated tubular steel door handles with concealed hinges and shall be counter-balanced without the use of springs. No window or lights are required; e. Legs: Unit shall have standard stainless steel 6" legs; f. Space Allowance: Dimensions for deck ovens must not exceed indicated measurements; g. Design: Units shall include gas manifold piping. Units do not require electrical utilities. Delivery will be to Traffic Management Office, Bldg 2253, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, CA.
