This is a combined synopsis/soliciation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as Request for Quotations No. R1-12-99-025. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular No. 97-07. This procurement is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable SIC code is 1442, Size Standard 500 employees. Item No. 1: 7,300 CY gravel $_______/CY $________/Total The gravel shall be 3/4" minus gravel for road surfacing. Gravel shall be delivered to the Helena, MT vicinity (exact location to be determined later). Gravel shall be delivered by 5/15/99. Provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offeror's -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition and amended as follows: a) Paragraph (10) is deleted b) Paragraph (11)(d) is deleted.
