C -- IDIQ ARCHITECT AND ENGINEER SERVICES SOL DAHA51-99-R-0001 DUE 042799 POC POC -- Harold D Fox (907)428-6186 or Christine Scott (907)428-6190 Professional Architectural/Engineering services are required for an Indefinite Delivery Contract on Kulis ANGB, Alaska. Engineer/Architect will furnish all professional services, plant, labor, equipment, materials and travel required to complete all required design work. Services may include producing complete design bid documents (plans and specification), design build documents,and a final detailed cost estimate for each project. Projects may include Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, Structural, Architectural design and Planning Studies. When necessary to obtain data essential to the performance of the design effort, the selected Architectural/Engineering (A/E) firm will conduct field surveys and investigations such as topographical surveys, soil evaluations, chemical and mechanical surveys, investigation and technical studies. The successful firm shall not be eligible to compete for any design contracts for which they have developed the project book and/or statement of work. Evaluation factors to be reviewed by the pre-selection and final selection boards in order of decreasing importance are: (1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of required services; (2) Specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required, including, where appropriate, experience in energy conservation, pollution prevention, waste reduction, and the use of recovered materials; (3) Capacity to accomplish the work in the required time; (4) Past performance on contracts with government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work and compliance with performance schedules; (5) Location in the general geographical area of the project and knowledge of the locality of the project. (6) The volume of work awarded by Department of Defense during the previous 12 months. This Indefinite Delivery contract will be awarded for a period of one year with the possibility of a one year extension at the option of the government . The total cumulative dollar value of the delivery orders issued under this Indefinite Delivery contract will not exceed $1,500,000 per year. No Delivery Order issued under this Indefinite Delivery contract will normally exceed $300,000 without the written consent of the PARC. The minimum amount for this contract will be $2,000. Use of the resulting IDIQ contract shall be available for use by the Alaska Army National Guard at various locations in Alaska as well as the Alaska Air National Guard at Kulis ANGB, AK at the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
