The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Detachment Washington intends to award a sole-source purchase order to Color Film Company (8300 Professional Place Ste 115, Landover MD 20785) on behalf of the Naval Recruiting Command (NRC). The order is for duplication of 41,000 CDs titled "Delayed Entry Program." This is a follow-on order for additional CD duplication. The original order was awarded in 1998 to Color Film Company. Award will be made to Color Film Company because it has the master CD and all master printing material for the CD face and packaging. The NRC is shipping Delayed Entry Guidebooks and the CDs are an integral part of the guidebook and needed as soon as possible. Color Film Corporation is the only known vendor that can meet the time and delivery requirements for this order. Items need to be shipped to 68 different locations in the USA. The Government estimates that price per CD (including packaging and shipping) will be $1.02.
