The General Services Administration intends to issue a contract to Norstan Communications, Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 through solicitation number 6TSA-99-JAG-0048. This procurement is for Telecommunications Maintenance and Follow-On Services for GSA's existing Government-owned Siemens-Rolm Switching Systems in Des Moines, IA for a period of three years with the option to renew for four (4) additional one-year periods, with an estimated value of $1,000,000. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302.
